We just heard that Swingfest has been cancelled and we are very disappointed. Over the years, we have seen convention planners and cruise companies come and go offering new products in new cities and most of them are no longer in business. Some bit off more than they could chew, some overestimated the amount of potential customers that were out there, some simply didn’t know how to manage such a business. No matter what the reason, we are always sad to see an event or a cruise get cancelled, especially when people have already booked their airfare and taken time off of work.

Many of you know that the financial backers of Yolo Cruises, the first entire ship takeover lifestyle/swingers cruise, have run themselves afoul of the Securities and Exchange Commission.  The purpose of this article is to inform our readers who may have been booked on the Yolo Cruise that was supposed to sail in October, 2010 of recent developments.
